Every Minute Counts, a free fundraising lunch in support of our local Red Cross Chapter was held Wednesday, May 6 at Meyer's Lake Ballroom. Over 400 Red Cross friends attended the event to see and hear true stories of lives touched by our local Red Cross and to pledge support of our operating fund.

Guests at the event viewed an 8-minute video telling three stories of those whose lives have been changed because of the work of your local Red Cross.

Thanks to the generosity of the community we raised over $200,000 in gifts and pledges. The Changing Lives Society, a multi-year giving society, was introduced and kicked-off with leadership pledges from Lucille Edwards and her family, in honor of the work of Jim and Mary Edwards, and from Jeffrey T. Joliat, The Seal Group. Both are founding members at the Changing Neighborhoods level of the Changing Lives Society. Thank you to all Founding Members of our Changing Lives Society

For more information on becoming a founding member of the Changing Lives Society, please contact Jacquie Batchelder, (330) 453-0146 x112.
