The Red Cross is a symbol of hope throughout the world. As part of this humanitarian organization, the Stark County Chapter of the American Red Cross provides relief to victims of single family emergencies and community and national disasters.
Your gift to the American Red Cross Stark County Chapter will change lives, starting with your own. As an independent, non-profit organization, we do not receive government funding. Instead, we rely on the generosity of individuals and companies. Your generosity will ensure our organization can continue to fulfill its mission of helping people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies now and well into the future.

In Tribute & Memorials
Whether it's an anniversary, the arrival of a new baby, or the passing of a loved one, our In Tribute and Memorial Program provides a unique way to honor those dear to you while also helping the Red Cross meet the humanitarian needs of our community. Click here to see recent tributes and memorials.
To take part in this program, simply send your check or money order, payable to the American Red Cross Stark County Chapter with a note letting us know who you are paying tribute or are memorializing with your gift. A gift card will then be sent to the person of your choice and a receipt will be sent to you. |
Annual Fund
The Annual Fund is recognized as any gift given to the Chapter of up to $999.00 by direct donation to the chapter or in response to a mail campaign, especially during March Red Cross month. |
Major Gifts
When you make a gift of $1000 or more to the American Red Cross Stark County Chapter you become a member of the Clara Barton Society. Clara Barton, the founder of the American Red Cross, symbolized the spirit of caring and active volunteerism. In 1881 she brought the fledgling International Red Cross movement to the United States , and with it a dedication to easing human suffering and a reliance on voluntary support. Your support of our local chapter continues to make Clara Barton’s dream a reality. |
Chapter Partners

Events and Event Sponsorships
The American Red Cross Stark County Chapter currently conducts two fundraising events, the Duck Race and The Ride for the Red. Your sponsorship will bring you recognition and help us provide needed services in out community. Please plan to join us at these fun events.

Planned Giving
Many people would like to help strengthen the long-term viability of the American Red Cross but feel they cannot afford to make such a gift today. A bequest by will or revocable Trust can be tailored to complement your personal lifestyle and financial goals and also support the Red Cross.
If you have not already done so, please consider putting the American Red Cross Stark County Chapter in your will or revocable trust. A gift by Will, Revocable Trust, Charitable Gift Annuity or other planned giving vehicle makes you a member of our Legacy Society.

Endowment Fund
A donation may be designated to the American Red Cross Stark County Chapter Endowment Fund. The corpus of the monies donated to the endowment fund are not spent, but invested, with revenue generated available for chapter use each year. A gift to the Endowment Fund will work to secure the long-term future of vital Red Cross services to our community. |
